Fill out the short form below by 1:00 PM on Tuesday to join our Carpool to the Lansing Rally in response to the Flint Water Crisis – to be held during Snyder’s State of the State Address – Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Drivers and riders should meet at the Plymouth Road Park & Ride Lot near US-23 exit 41. Cars will depart Ann Arbor between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.
The first car will depart the Plymouth Park & Ride Lot for Lansing at 3:00 PM. The last Park & Ride Lot car will depart for Lansing at 3:30 PM. Travel time from Ann Arbor to Lansing is approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. Link to map https://goo.gl/maps/enQeDMmTxeE2

Our carpoolers from Washtenaw County will join hundreds of activists from around the state to convene at Lansing City Hall near the Capitol for a 5:00 PM press conference.
Flint Water Crisis speakers include: UAW Vice President Cindy Estrada, former Congressman & Gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer, ACLU Investigator Curt Guyette, Flint residents and others. The Lansing City Hall address is 124 West Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48933. The rally ends at 7:30 PM. At least one car will depart Lansing approx. 7:30 PM immediately following the rally. The remaining cars will return to Ann Arbor following the State of the State Address.
