AADems Labor Day Picnic 2014

Please join us for our annual Labor Day Picnic!

We will be barbecuing some great food, plus we’ll have kids games and live music  by Chris Kendall and She-Bop and the Riff Raff. This is chance for us to celebrate the end of the summer and hear from our great democratic candidates and elected officials!

Suggested donation: $15 Individual / $30 Family (2 adults and up to 4 kids)

Donate at the door or click https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/demslaborday

NOTE:  A local media source mistakenly reprinted incorrect information of the Elks Lodge as the location.  As of 1:30 PM on Labor Day, they have corrected the error online.  If you saw the incorrect information in print please disregard and know that we will be at Island Park, 1450 Island Drive, Ann Arbor, MI.  You may click this Google Map link or call our Chair, Mike Henry, 313-559-5558 for directions 🙂
Also, it looks like we may get a little Labor Day rain after 5:00 PM.  Come early to start your picnic experience off dry.  And don’t fret.  We have reserved a nice sturdy brick shelter at Island Park with grills, tables, and accessible restrooms.  Bring lawn chairs and rain gear just in case.
