Ann Arbor to Hear Highlights on National Gun Control Debate
Ann Arbor democrats will preview gun control debate over food and drinks at Sava’s Restaurant

ANN ARBOR – On Tuesday, March 26th members and friends of the Ann Arbor Democratic Party host a gun control mixer – to keep the conversation about stopping gun violence moving forward at Sava’s Restaurant.  The fact that this is a complex problem cannot be an excuse for inaction.  The mixer is being held to support a local Ann Arbor business.  It is also appropriately themed given the heated debate nationally and will give way to spirited dialog on ways that we can prevent acts of violence in our community and country.

WHO:  Members and friends of the Ann Arbor Democratic Party, elected officials, interested citizens.

WHAT:  A Gun Control Mixer – a regularly scheduled monthly mixer, with a timely theme, in a casual environment, to support a local Ann Arbor business.  The Party will purchase a few selections from the menu for guests to share.  Guests will also be able to take advantage of special happy hour prices on beverages while getting to know other Democrats.  Ann Arbor Democratic Party monthly mixers are always free of charge.  Your contribution in any amount is greatly appreciated.  Contributions help the Party cover costs for meetings, advertising, supplies, and special events.

WHEN:  Tuesday, March 26, 2013 – 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

WHERE:  Sava’s Restaurant, 216 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 (located between Liberty and Washington) 734-623-2233.

Ann Arbor Democratic Party meetings and mixers regularly attract our Congressman, the Mayor, numerous City Council Members, Washtenaw County Commissioners, the Sheriff, members of the State House and Senate, and other government leaders who wish to connect with engaged citizens.
